I’m in Louisville this week working with a franchisee as they open their doors—and this is easily one of the best parts of what I get to do.

Seeing someone step into their business, in real time, operating, leading, figuring things out… it’s different than anything you can talk through on a call.

This is where it all becomes real.

But what makes it even more meaningful is knowing where it started.

Months ago, this was just a conversation. Questions, uncertainty, trying to figure out if business ownership even made sense.

That discovery phase is something I don’t take lightly. It’s not just about brands or numbers—it’s about helping someone get clear on what they actually want, and whether this path fits.

So being here now, watching it all take shape, is a reminder of how much can happen when someone decides to move forward.

From “just exploring” to opening the doors.

That’s the fun part.
